I love that you included this line. Some people get triggered while listening to or reading real-life stories and mistake the speaker or writer for being an attention-seeking drama queen. Some people seem to fail to grasp the idea that life happens differently for everyone, and when they recount a tragic event, they're viewed as sympathy seekers.
